Lorenzo
I have not researched this area carefully. Before attending the pharam conference a few weeks ago, I was quite unaware of the complexity of managing the MSL communications and regulatory processes. It appears to operate differently than the way other business processes operate. MSLs operate in sort of a "DMZ" -- as they are both advocates of their company, but also separate from the communication flow of many pieces of corporate information. They are also advocates of their customers and of the 'truth" as defined via some regulatory process. So standard processes that were created for field sales reps or other similar types of employees might not work for MSLs.

My post here is really about sharing what I learned, and what you see above is the extent of what I know. I was quite impressed with the Exploria http://www.exploria.net/ presentation and with their CEO Leo Herbette. So you might want to reach out to him and see if they can help you. Otherwise, you might want to find an analyst or consultant who specifically addresses the MSL area to see if there are other players in the field. Again, I'd start with Exploria -- they were quite impressive.

I read carefully your post Gil. Since I am currently trying to promote adoption of a collaborative platform for MSLs in an Italian small pharma company, it would be very useful to have more details on success cases in this field. Can you provide me any?
Thanks and congratulation for the inspiring blog.
